Dear Students
There will be an assessment of the first four weeks of the course next week during lab time. You need to prepare for this assessment by reviewing the OSCE cases in the system. Your evaluation will be done with the rubrics shared with you. Which student will encounter which OSCE case will be determined by drawing lots in the classroom. How many students will be assessed in the two-hour lab will depend on the class management. However, each student should be prepared for all OSCE cases in each assessment period. OSCE cases will then be available in the system for the second, third and fourth four-week assessments. As many students as possible will be assessed on a large number of performances and at the end of the semester each student will receive a lab grade for their performance in this area.
The first 8 weeks of notebook assessments will be completed in our first class this week.
